Lovely memories of wanting the moon flood night time dreams.  Memories of silver lighting filling a dark world with radiance and love.  Memories of a child reaching out of an open window into the darkness hoping to catch the moon in tiny hands.  But time passes and such childish dreams are thrown out of the heart and out of the soul.  Then suddenly someone reignites a loss love with an enchanting smile.  Wishes are made and once again the heart is peering out an open window, reaching and hoping that the moon was back in tiny hands.

A new love has now become the moon that was wanted for so long.  A love that has become the silver glow creeping through lace curtains and overflows a room with happiness.  A love to calm fears, fill the heart with serenity and the soul with passion.

Sparkling eyes peer through the crowd to reveal stars living within them and the friendship with the night once felt as a child has come rushing back.  The longing feeling felt as a child has returned along with the belief that the moon was a guardian and the stars were companions.  The moon gives the night a radiance that cannot be denied by the soul.  And though at times clouds cover the moon from view soon the clouds will pass and the moon will be smiling down once more.

As the moon grows full and hangs in the sky love will be the strongest and dreams will be of this new love.  Dreams of flying high and catching the moon.  Dreams of catching this new love in tiny hands and keeping it forever in loving arms.  Holding its glow and experiencing the gaze of the stars in sparkling eyes as the sliver light fills the body from within.

But the moon has become a truth that may never be.  A thought the heart will not grasp.  Wishes are made for the moon and hope for the truth that it will someday live in loving arms.  But thoughts race through the mind of reaching towards the moon only to grasp empty night air.  Like the moon, this new love seems to be always be out of reach; the distance between has become too great.  Decisions are made to throw such dreams once again out of the heart and out of the soul.  Both fight desperately against it and refuse to give love up.  The mind tries to force them but still they fight as the mind begins to loose battle within.

Visions of the new love flood night time dreams.  The mind desperately tries to rid the visions and begs the heart to stop breaking.  Then the day comes when the new love with their enchanting smile and sparkling eyes filled with stars is not seen.  The heart breaks and the soul cries as the mind wearily reminds them that this love is out of reach.

Loneliness sits in the dark in front of an open window as tears begin to fall from sad eyes.  Feelings of loss fill the room as sad eyes gaze out the window.  The moon smiles down upon them as it moves from behind dark clouds.  A cool breeze flutters a single picture of the lost love to the ground.  In the still of the night the mind begins to understand; as the light of the moon falls only on the picture.  The mind comes to understand that if belief is strong enough, it can and will catch the moon.  The dilemma of distance will not deny the heart and soul from what they long for.  Distance was never important as a child; it was just an obstacle that in time could and would be overcome.   As time will soon pass this love will only grow and the distance between will become short.  The bond will grow and will draw two minds, two hearts and two souls together once more.
In that moment it becomes clear as slowly as the sliver light fills the room love will slowly fill life.  The clouds will pass and the stars and the smiling face of love will be seen once more.

The heart and soul as well as the mind knows now that they will fly among the stars someday and catch the moon and keep it forever.  Until they can fly among the stars in sparkling eyes of the one they love they will keep reaching until have love safe forever in tiny hands.
